Business Owners Coaching Program The 10 month program has been designed to support growth and development of business owners through interaction and an open forum with other business owners and an experienced coach. The structure of the Business Owners Coaching Program allows for groups of up to 10 business owners to meet for 3 hour meetings once a month with the main focus to discuss issues and gain solutions and support from the group. In addition the participant/owner will also be offered an hour each month individual sessions with the coach either in person or via telephone. What is involved in Group Sessions? The aim of the group sessions are not for training however they are a forum where participants can discuss issues such as:
The Coach All coaches are experienced business owners. Groups are assigned coaches whose strengths match the businesses profiles and experience. The main aim of the coach is to encourage the open discussion of ideas and issues and facilitate problem solving. the coach will also work with the business owner to identify issues in the business which need work and to foster growth. Who Can Join? Start-up businesses with a registered business name and a turnover above $50 000 per year Businesses with a turn over of up to $5 Million Potential participants must demonstrate strong willingness to self improve and have commitment to the program Participants must be prepared to commit time to attending group sessions and to work with NABEC and Department Of Trade and Economic Development, the coach and members of the group
Cost and Subsidies The total cost of the 10 month program is $2200 or equivalent to $220 per month. Payment of the fee is required before commencement of the coaching program. Subsidies apply to accredited businesses and range up to 75% depending on business turnover.
